    When selecting region to record, browser disappears

    I just updated “Streaming Video Recorder” to version 4.8.4 and I want to record a video through my browser (Firefox). When I go to select the area to record, my browser disappears from my desktop. I have the recording window visible and I can re-size it; but, how can I size it to fit my video window if I cannot see the browser?

    I checked all the options and cannot see any way to do this. How can I do this?

    Before I updated to this version, when I went to size the recording window, my browser stayed visible and I was able to size it to the video I want to record. Why has this changed now? Do I need to go back to the other version? Did anything improve with this update?

    As it is now, I need to do 2 steps to record one video. One is to set a random window size and record. Two, convert it and crop out the extra crap. I would like to just record in one step. Why have you changed this? :?:

    Hi, it is strange.
    Does it hide another window? or only your Firefox?
    If you change another web-browser, for example IE or Google Chrome, is it the same result?
    Or could you uncheck the option “Minimize to tray during recording” in Options window and try again?

    I am having the same problem! It’s very frustrating. If I use Region Record it goes to a black screen where I can “resize” the recording window, but it is not showing me my browser window. It only shows a black screen with cross hatches to adjust the recording window size. I see on the directions that I SHOULD be able to see what I want to record and adjust the screen size accordingly.  Please help!!!!
