Home › Record Streaming Audio › What do the quality settings mean?
It looks like “High” quality means 24-bit output and “Standard” is 16-bit.
Is this correct and are there any other differences?
I am creating FLAC files, so the degree of compression is not an issue.
If I have a CD-quality stream (i.e. 44KHz/16-bit), would the high and standard outputs sound the same, so I may as well use standard and get smaller files?
Hi, yeah, just like what you said, if you record with higher quality, you will get lager file. Based on your needs, you can choose to record audio with high or standard quality.
