Searching/finding text in a PDFViews : 204 Replies : 6 Likes : 0 2019-03-07 12:45 #1
I feel a little silly asking this most basic of questions. So far, I’ve been able to navigate around all the editing and formatting options within Apower PDF. However, the one (and simple) function that I just can’t seem to figure out how to do is perform a search or find for text (or words) in a PDF document.
I’ve tried doing the usual and reliable control+F, but that appears to do notthing at all. I also haven’t been able to seem to find any find function from the menu across the top of the app or in any of the navigation bars. Am I missing something obvious? Any help would be extremely appreciated.

Dear users, welcome to PDF discussion and help community, there is no search function in ApowerPDF, but it will come out in the recent future. Please stay tuned.

Thank you for your response. Very disappointed to learn that there is no search function. I see this as a very critical and basic function for the product to be worth being a paid subscriber to. I’ll be honest, had I known that document searching was not available, I would not have signed up for my subscription as to me this is a serious deal-breaker. For the documentation work that I regularly perform, searching is a requirement. For that reason, I will for the time being have to return to using Adobe Reader.
Could I ask that you notify me as soon as this feature becomes available? Were it not for the lack of search functionality, I would commit to using this PDF reader exclusively. Very disappointed to learn that there is no search functionality.
Hi Cottage, ApowerPDF has come out search feature now, it comes to V5.0, you can use this link to download the program: https://download.apowersoft.com/down.php?softid=pdfeditor. But it is not able to use Ctrl+F, you need to click the search button on the left side.
