Replay Music is a useful streaming music recorder that grants you the possibility to capture mp3 from any websites. Every song that saved on your computer as an mp3 file with high quality can be tagged with title, artist, album, and year automatically. Plus, it’s incredibly easy to burn songs directly to CDs, or save them to your phone, iPad, iPod or other portable devices.
However, there still exist several drawbacks, for example, sometimes it fails in the attempt to recognize the song and it only supports mp3 output format. Also there may come a time that Replay Music not working. Thus in this case, knowing about programs like Replay Music is of great necessity for saving you from the troubles and solving the problems.
Total Recorder is a useful program specially designed for recording, editing, and playing audio and video files. With it, you can record audio from Internet, microphone line-in, CD and DVD etc. Even better, it’s able to perform recording in any of supported sound format WAV, MP3, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC and APE, but you’ll have to download separate encoders to do so.
The only hassle with this replay music similar software is that is that it generates files tagged with geneic names, as it doesn’t support to identify the audio track information automatically, so you have to tag the tracks one by one manually.
Streaming Audio Recorder
Similar to Replay Music, Streaming Audio Recorder is a unique music recording software that enables you to record any audio you hear on your PC, whether it’s movie, radio, music or other streaming audio. In addition, when recording, the audio being recorded can automatically be tagged with audio track information. Besides, both of them supports to burn audio files to CD directly.
While, unlike Replay Music, this replay music alternative also applies to the recording of what you speak through the microphone or both the system sound and microphone. Better yet, it supports as much as five common output formats by default including MP3, WAV, OGG, WMA, and AAC. More conveniently, it allows you to create schedule tasks in order to start recording at certain time you set.

Is Total Recorder that good? I have heard a lot about it and am also looking for something to use instead of Replay. I don’t mind the way Replay works, but I want something that is more user friendly and will allow me to save music to my iPad.

I need a music software that automatically tags the tracks with the appropriate information but I am very new and also need software that can take that into account. Which one would you guys recommend for me?
- Chole : Streaming Audio Recorder would help to tag audio tracks with appropriate information automatically. It's simple to use, just click "On" button to start recording the audio track, while recording, it will keep identifying the ID3 tag information. Once done, your recorded files will be tagged with track information like title, album, artist, year and many others.
