Recordings not splittingViews : 1711 Replies : 10 Likes : 0 2016-12-14 15:24 #1
When I am recording streaming audio, the program does not split between tracks. Is there a way I can set up the recorder to split between songs?

Thank you. I found what I needed in advanced settings.

The split when a silence dies not work. I have set the interval down to the minimum you allow of 10 milliseconds and still end up with one continuous 347,237 meg file.
Then the software hangs and becomes unresponsive. I have to go into Windows Task Manager to kill it, or reboot of course.
This has been the the most disappointing purchase ever.

What is the recommended setting to split songs when there is silence between tracks? It’s hit or miss for me.

This is an issue for me too. Where will I find the Advanced settings menu as it doesn’t appear to exist. I just bought it an hour ago and this is the only problem I have identified.

Powersoft, you have given these guys the wrong Info. The setting they need is “Automatically spit when the silence is more than ?? milliseconds” I find around 60 works well although occasionally the only way is to manually stop recording to prevent the next track being recorded. Once you stop recording the system should go to identify and tag mode
