My friend says his program is only recording the first few minutes of an online video. What is the problem?

Looking forward to the answer myself.  I’m also only able to record the very beginning of my videos.  I even went back to ones I was able to record in the past and it’s the same thing.  Has an update changed a setting?

Most of the times they're less than 10 minutes, even though he could see that the cache files were hundreds of MB, which seemed the videos were completely downloaded but the compilations (?) only saved the first few minutes.

I told my friend I was posting his problem in the developer’s own forum (community) for solutions. Yeah, I got zilch. Thanks for nothing.
