I recently bought Apowersoft Screen Recorder (I love it!). My registration code works and I can use the full version of the application I paid for. However, as title suggests, every time I launch the application it claims the trial has expired and it asks me to register (again…). This is not an issue preventing me from using the application, but it really annoying and greatly reduces the overall enjoyment. Other preferences and settings are saved, it is only the registration that is not “remembered” – in case that’s relevant information.
I use Windows 7 64 bit.
Is there some registry-key I need to remove or manually set for this to work, or something?
(yes, I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting computer, and combinations of them)
Uninstalled Deleted every trace of apowersoft from the PC Restarted PC Made a fresh install Restarted PC again
Now it is stuck in trial mode. It accepts my registration code (and yes, it complains if it is the wrong one) and claims it to be registered to me when I click “register” in the help menu. But it now have the trial limitations (watermark + 3 mins). When restarting the application, it asks for registration again. What is wrong this this application, it has no troubleshoot information and nothing to help me pin-point the problem?
Hi! Sorry for any inconvenience we brought to you. Could you please enter in “%appdata%\Apowersoft\Apowersoft Screen Recorder Pro 2” in Computer and then search it. After that, you can delete this whole folder. Then you can remove this screen recorder pro from your computer, download, install this program again. After that, you can try to register it again and check whether it works. If it still fails to work, you can contact us via our support email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
