Poor quality recording
Quality within app set to high. Songs listed as 320bit on file attributes but it’s missing mid and low frequency sound within recording.
I’m assuming this is a result of the sound card within the PC but wanted to confirm.
Is there a recommended USB sound card that can be used for capturing the best quality?
I’m a bit disappointed that this SW solution actually takes the output sound for capture and doesnt have some type of solution for a SW layer sound card emulator to capture the original INPUT. Basically with this solution, you get whatever your sound card and speakers seem to output. Mid level card, mid level recording quality.

Capture device = laptop speaker results in crappy sound frequency… mono and no mid or bass on playback in my car via phone.
Capture device = Headset listed as 7.1 in Win10 output device = much better capture but not perfect.
I still seem to have a somewhat low volume condition going on even with the volumes on everything set at 100% during recording. Play back in my car with radio volume max and phone bluetooth max, doesn’t seem to be loud. I’m still playing with this but it’s more difficult than it should be.

Actually our program does not have specific requirements in USB sound card. It seems that there is something wrong on your computer, therefore, you missed to record the middle part and low frequency sound. To better help us locate the issue, could you please send us product log file?
To send log file, please click the settings icon on the interface and go to “Help”->”Feedback”. After that, a window will pop up. You can check “Send log file”, write down some details about this issue and then submit it. And we will get back to you ASAP.

Re quality, it’s all about your soundcard because the recorder just records the output of what’s streaming thru your soundcard. If you’re recording from Youtube or Soundcloud for example, those recordings are very low bit rate, so if you’re playing them through a soundsystem instead of your computer, you may be disappointed in the sound quality.
Just my two cents.
Poor quality recording2019-05-10 12:52 #8I’m getting better quality recordings from Applian Replay Music using same hardware. Queen We Will Rock You on Applian Replay Music records at 31.3MB at 2135kps while Streaming Audio Records same file at 23.5MB at 1429kps. That is a considerable reduction of 25% on file size and 33% on bitrate. What gives?
