Hello Ada – My iPhone is 11.2.6 and it connects at times and doesn’t at other times. It is super frustrating. I bought this for important demos and I find myself unable to use it. I have tried your solution above multiple times and it would for one session maybe and that is it.. I am connecting via USB and all other details about my phone like the battery life popup but not the screen..

I upgraded to iOS 11.3 today and get a black screen when trying to “reflect”.  there is no “reflect” icon below as the instructions state.

I saw someone use this product and worked well.  Would like to purchase if I can get this working

Hi there!  I seem to be having the same problem as everyone else – I’m on 11.3.1 on an iPhone SE.

I got the same problem as discussed above. Running Phone Manager on a pc with Windows 10, when i connect my iPhone (6S, iOS 11.4.1). The phone shows up in Windows Explorer and in iTunes but not in Phone Manager. When I check the folder XPhoneData it is empty. I downloaded the zipfile above for 11.4.0, added it to the folder, restarted the pc but Phone Manager still doesn’t detect my phone. I repeated this renaming the zip file 11.4 (your filename suggest this should be the name) and also renaming it 11.4.1 but nothing works. How should this be managed? Will you add a 11.4.1 file to your list and will that file make a difference? If not, what should I do?

    Regards, J

I have just purchased this product specifically to use phone mirroring . I get “Failed To Initialize Reflector” every time I try to use that feature. The solution given here does not work.  There are no .cfg or .ini files in the directory indicated. I can see that the zip file is downloaded.

It looks like this problem has existed for a while now. It isn’t acceptable that the user should be asked to fix it. If I can’t have a solution for this right away, I would like a refund please.

First question is there a new file for the current iOS 12.1.3?

I too have followed all the suggestions from this conversation, and cannot connect ApowerManager in order to mirror my iphone to my laptop.

I have updated my iOS to the current 12.1.3, updated iTunes to the current 12.9.2.6 and yet still cannot connect. Can someone provide what the directory should look like if you can successfully connect you iPhone 8s iOS 12.1.3 ?

Also when I first opened this directory %appdata%\Apowersoft\Apowersoft Phone Manager\XPhoneData there is no cfg and tmp files. I have downloaded the file again and replaced the 12.1.zip file that I manually added on earlier multiple attempts.

I had to manually add the 12.1.zip file again and did not extract the files which seem counter intuitive.

    Thanks

    Joe

I’ve been trying to mirror my iphone 8 plus all morning.  Since updating to 12.3.2 I cannot mirror anything.  I’m a Product Manager on a tight schedule and rely on this functionality to do my job.  Help!  This was mirroring perfectly just this past Friday (6/14).

Are you using a beta version? It seems that iOS 12.3.2 has not been officially released.

To make it work, please follow the steps below.

        1. Open “This PC” or “My computer”. Follow the screenshot below and enter the path “%appdata%\Apowersoft\ApowerManager\XPhoneData” behind the computer icon.
        2. Delete the cfg and tmp files that match your iOS system, i.e. 12.3.2
        3. Connect your iPhone to ApowerManager. Wait for a while for the new zip file to be downloaded, which may take a few minutes. Please have some patience!

it was a specific fix for the camera functionality on 8 Plus….specifically

“iOS 12.3.2 resolves an issue that could cause Camera to capture Portrait mode photos without depth effect on some iPhone 8 Plus devices.”

So it definitely broke something because I no longer am able to use screen mirroring with this phone.  I do have a test iphone XR I tried today and it works normally with screen mirroring….but that isn’t my dedicated phone and I only have it for today.
