    How to Transfer Live Photos from PC to iPhone

    Hi,

    I downloaded some beautiful live photos from some websites on my computer. Is it possible to transfer them to my iPhone?

    Hi Monica,

    Yes, you can transfer Live Photos from PC to iPhone using Phone Manager program. But before that, please make sure the every live photo you download actually contains two files with the same name: one JPG file and one MOV file.

    1. Please click the button below to download Phone Manager on your computer.

      Download

    2. Connect your iPhone to the application using USB cable.
    3. Go to “Files” tab, click the “DCIM” folder. Then choose the folder with the biggest number.
    4. Click “Import” to transfer both the JPG file and MOV file.

    5. After successful transfer, click “PhotoData” folder on the left side, then choose the file named “Photos.sqlite” and delete it.

    6. Restart your iPhone. Go to the “Photos” app on your iPhone. The photos will be reloaded, which will take a while. After that, you will see the transferred live photos.
