I was recording my screen, and a google hangout call when the battery on my laptop died and it shut down. Upon charging and turning back on Apowersoft wasn’t running and I can’t find a recording. AM I going to be able to find what would have been recorded prior to the shutdown?
Hi, Mike! Sorry for the late reply. You can follow the steps below to recover the recordings that fail to save.
1. If you are using Apowersoft Screen Recorder Pro, simply go to “Settings”->”Options”->”Recording”->”Set the temporary folder”, and then open the temporary folder. However, if you are using online version, you can hit the settings icon on the toolbar, click the options icon next to output folder, and then open the temporary folder.
2. After that, you can find the temp video and audio files of the recording that fail to save in this folder.
3. Then, you can open our built-in video editor, then add the temp video, drop down audio option menu and select “Add audio…”.
4. Next, add the temp audio file, and click “Convert” to merge them into one.
I’m afraid it’s lost information that you can’t recover now. My condolences, but try not to make the same mistake in the future and all will be well, friend. By the way, I used to make a lot of mistakes with my laptop’s touchscreen too, but since I updated the hid compliant touch screen driver download, I was able to set the touchscreen to work the way I needed it to.
