Control via USB not working Windows 10

    Hello,

    I have Windows 10 and Nexus 5X Androi 8.x.

Mirroring (screen display) works via Wifi and USB.

Phone control via PC and USB works fine.

But control via PC and Wifi does not work, only screen mirroring. When I try to use icon on PC software on the right for control, it always says something like “On the first time you have to use USB to enable… You must disconnect first…”. I can’t get it work.

    Thanks!

    Hi Mikko.

If you don’t restart your phone or clear you phone’s cache, you can directly connect with WiFi to control your phone from your computer. : )

I have exactly the same problem right now. When plugged in via usb it works to control from pc.

But to switch to wifi you have to disconnect and disconnect usb cable. Then going to wifi, the options says as OP. It never works.

        -Revoke USB debugging.

        -Launch ApowerMirror on Windows PC

        -Connect via USB first

-Disconnect using the disconnect button on ApowerMirror on phone.

        -reconnect via wifi (with control)
