When I attempt to connect with either program, “AirPlay Mirroring” flashes white before going back to black. Twenty seconds or so later it informs me that it could not connect to the computer. I have tried with both my iPad and iPhone with no success. Everything is up to date.
On a related note, is Mirror meant to be replacing the iPhone/iPad Recorder? If so, will those with a subscription to the Recorder be getting one for Mirror? It seems unfair to ask us to pay an additional $80 for features we don’t need (i.e. connecting to Android devices) if we’ve already bought a lifetime license for the Recorder.
For the first question, please check the following things: 1. Are your iOS devices and PC connected to the same WiFi? 2. Does your firewall or anti-virus software block our programs? You can close them for a while and connect your iPhone to our program to see if it will work. 3. Please don’t open ApowerMirror, iPhone/iPad Recorder at the same time. If none of them will solve your problem, please send feedback along with log file from the program.
For the second question, don’t worry. ApowerMirror and iPhone/iPad Recorder are two different programs. ApowerMirror won’t replace iPhone/iPad Recorder. You can continue to use iPhone/iPad Recorder. Thank you!
Could you please send us product log file for checking out the issue?
To send log file, please hit the more icon on the top of the main interface, then select "Help"-"Feedback" from the menu. After that, you can check "Send log file", write down details and submit it. Thanks.
I'm very sorry for the late response. We have sent you an email. Please check it to uninstall the old version and download the latest version of iOS Recorder. It should solve the problem. Thank you very much!
