The program may minimized to your task bar, check right corner of your task bar (Hide area).
If you are using Windows XP, please make sure you have installed Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, if not, please download it from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=1639 and then install it.
After installation, please reload the page of Apowersoft Free Online Screen Recorder again.
I am using a Mac OS 10.7.5, and using the Apowersoft Free Online Screen Recorder, I do not get the options as displayed in your video. I simply get a small Apowersoft Online Screen Recorder with no options for selecting, editing, …. The recorded file type is .mov, and is very very large in size, over 50 M for a 35 second recording. Do I need to buy one of your downloads, which one? How do we control file size?
On Mac OS X, our free screen recorder now have basic screen record functions, unlike windows version, you can’t choose customized area and control the file size, and edit the video, but we are improving the free screen recorder for Mac.

Hi, i have a problem, i selected system record but doesn’t record any sound.
If windows popup a Windows Security, please click Install to accept.

Click Options and switch to Recording tab, Click test the system sound, if you can hear the sound, it works well.
although i can hear the sound while testing, it fails to record. as a result i only get video with blank audio. I am using XP and start recording before launching the website(as directed above). i can record videos off youtube perfectly(with sound) but not on this particular video. i can hear the sound of the video while recording but the saved file doesnot have any audio in it. thanks in advance !!
If you are using Windows XP and no sound has been recorded, please follow these steps to fix it.
1, Right-click on the volume icon and select Adjust Audio Properties
2, Switch to Audio tab, if the default sound playback device is not Apowersoft_AudioDevice, please change it to Apowersoft_AudioDevice and then click OK button.
3, Start to record.
Note: please start recording first and then playback video or music you want to record, if you want to record live video, please restart your web browser and then playback it, or the sound will not be recorded.
Thanks Aaron I realised this and hav already made these changes. I need to make these changes every time I restart my pc. With these changes I can record perfectly.
Also I noticed that if I convert the files directly after recording them, the audio and video are out of sync. But if u record, close the apowersoft windows and then convert the videos the out of sync problem is resolved.
Now my problem is that I am getting very smooth videos In the WMV format…but as soon as I convert them to mp4 the videos become choppy. Do I need to change the frame rate or bitrate while converting??
How long can the recording be? I want to record something that’s over an hour long

when i click start recording it takes like an hour for it to initiate the java applet can i speed this up?

I guess you are using Firefox, there some problem with Firefox new version and Java, you need to active java before you use this online screen recorder app.
I would suggest you use chrome browser to use this tool.

to record video and my video, i have to deal with my voice talking while I’m talking. i wish i could not my voice because i want to record my voice without it reading it back to me. is there a way to remove that feature
Use headphone instead of speaker outside if you have to record from microphone.
If you don’t need to record your own voice through microphone, just Click Audio input and choose system sound or none.
